The Diploma in Facial Reflexology
SorensensistemTM
is recognised by many associations in UK, including
Association of Reflexologists (AoR), British Reflexology Association
(BRA), Embody, BABTAC, Federation for Holistic Therapists, Irish
Reflexologists’ Institute, Independent Professional Therapists
International (IPTI). The therapy is a powerful treatment in its
own right and can also be used in conjunction with foot/ hand/
ear reflexology, body massage, and by therapists skilled as beauty
therapists, acupuncturists, aromatherapists, chiropractors, dentists,
doctors and osteopaths.
Tutors
Lone Sorensen is the originator of Facial Reflexology
SorensensistemTM and is a multi-disciplinary therapist. She studied
reflexology and acupuncture in Denmark and has also studied in
Chile, Cuba, France, Spain and Germany. She introduced Reflexology
to Argentina, founding its first three schools. She currently
teaches Facial Reflexology in many countries all over the world.
Angela Sellens Drake has been practising Reflexology for 25 years.
She is Principal of Pathways School of Reflexology in UK, where
she has run Professional and Advanced Training in Reflexology
for 13 years. She has been working with Facial Reflexology since
she met and trained with Lone Sorenson in 2003-4, and organised
the first Facial Reflexology training courses in Norfolk, UK in
2007-8.
Lone Sorensen presented Facial Reflexology at the RAC/ARC Montreal
Conference in 2008, assisted by Angela Sellens Drake

COMPLETE COURSE DETAILS, VANCOUVER, BC 2009-10
Part I 14/15 November 2009 includes:
• Background theory: Mapuche Indian and neurological techniques
• assessment and diagnosis
• the 7-step basic treatment
Part 2 16/17 November 2009 includes:
• Meriidianology and Five Element Theory
• cranial points and zones
• practiising and developing the treatment
• planning casework
Parts 3 & 4 26-29 March 2010 include:
• 564 neurological points
• stimulation of facial muscles
• cranial acupressure
• meridian balancing
• plans for specific problems and developing the treatment
• discussion of casework
Exam 30 March 2010
• Practical assessment and written examination
Total course cost: $1900
There is a 5% discount ($95) for RAC-BC members only, when the
TOTAL COST of the course is received before October 15 2009
Breakdown as follows:
• $400 each 2 day Part (ie. $800 for 4 days) which gives
a total of $1600 for the 9 days
• $185 for exam
• $102 for Global facial network membership and $13: book
(total $115)
• (the price of book will be deducted if students have already
bought it)
ie: Total course cost: $1900
includes course materials, Facial Reflexology book, exam fees,
email support during the course & one year’s membership
of the Global Facial Reflexology Network, which provides newsletters
and offers discounts off products and selected post-graduate courses
